Alkasr Alkbeer

Alkasr Alkbeer (The Grand Palace) is one of the most ambitious Gulf drama productions of the last decade, a sweeping 60 episode saga set behind the walls of a grand family estate in Jeddah. At the center stands a patriarch who rules a sprawling household with an iron sense of duty, determined to steer his family to safety through storms he cannot always see coming. Around him, a wide cast of sons, daughters, wives and in laws pull the family in different directions. Inheritance, reputation, marriage, ambition and long buried secrets collide, and every decision made inside the palace sends shockwaves through the lives of everyone who lives in it. Written by Adel Al Jabri and directed by Omar Al Dini, the series tackles the social questions that Gulf audiences actually live with, from generational conflict and the weight of family honor to the changing role of women, money and status. It does so without shortcuts, giving each character room to grow, fail and surprise you. The cast brings together some of the strongest names in Saudi and Khaleeji drama, including Salah Al Mulla, Basma Hamada, Mona Shaddad, Mohammed Al Hajji, Samoud, Najwa Al Kubaisi, Abdullah Al Saif, Salwa Al Jarrash, Ghazlan, Ilham Ali and Maha Al Ghareeb, supported by a wave of talented young actors. Filmed on location in Jeddah with cinema level production values, Alkasr Alkbeer became a ratings phenomenon and a turning point for Saudi television drama, and continues the story world introduced in Endama Yuzhir Al Khareef. If you love slow burning family sagas built on strong writing, rich characters and real emotional stakes, this is your next binge. Watch Alkasr Alkbeer in full, in high quality, only on Tesliya.
