After the Wedding

After the Wedding is a moving American drama about the choices that bind us and the secrets that surface when we least expect them. Isabel has given her life to a struggling orphanage in Kolkata, India. When a wealthy benefactor offers the funding that could save it, she must travel to New York to meet media executive Theresa Young in person. The timing could not be stranger, as the meeting lands right before the wedding of Theresa's daughter. As Isabel is drawn into the celebration, a connection she never expected begins to unravel, exposing a past she thought she had left behind. What follows is an emotional story of love, sacrifice, guilt, and family, carried by powerhouse performances from Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams, alongside Billy Crudup and Abby Quinn. Directed by Bart Freundlich and reimagined from the acclaimed Danish film, After the Wedding is a quietly gripping tale about how one meeting can change everything. Stream it now on Tesliya.
