Agent Red (2000)

Agent Red is a 2000 American action thriller starring Dolph Lundgren as Captain Matt Hendricks, a hardened naval officer assigned to escort a deadly chemical virus known as Agent Red to a secure disposal site. When Russian terrorists hijack the submarine and take control of the vessel, Hendricks and Dr. Linda Christian find themselves locked deep below the surface in a desperate fight for survival. As the terrorists prepare to unleash the virus on American and Russian cities, the two must work together to outmaneuver their captors, sabotage the attack, and stop a catastrophe before time runs out. Narrow corridors, close quarters combat, and relentless tension drive this claustrophobic submarine thriller from beginning to end. Directed by Damian Lee and Jim Wynorski, Agent Red delivers submarine action, military suspense, and the commanding physical presence that made Dolph Lundgren an action icon.
