Watch Black Site (2022)

Black Site (2022) is a tense, single location action thriller from director Sophia Banks, produced by the team behind Sicario and John Wick. The Story Hidden beneath the Jordanian desert, the Citadel is a top secret CIA facility built to hold detainees the world is not supposed to know about. Officer Abby Trent (Michelle Monaghan) is days away from leaving her post when Special Ops deliver a prisoner at the very top of the most wanted list: a cold, calculating operative known only as Hatchet (Jason Clarke). For Abby the arrest is personal. She believes this is the man responsible for the attack that killed her husband and daughter. What no one realises is that Hatchet wanted to be captured. Once he slips his restraints, the most secure prison on earth becomes a sealed killing ground, and the officers stationed inside start dying one by one. Communications go dark, loyalties fracture, and Abby discovers there is a mole in the ranks feeding him everything he needs. With the clock running out, the only question left is who she can still trust. Why Watch It A claustrophobic cat and mouse thriller that never leaves the facility, driven by a fierce lead turn from Michelle Monaghan and a genuinely chilling villain in Jason Clarke. At 92 minutes it moves fast and hits hard, perfect if you like Sicario, The Raid, and prison siege thrillers.
