An Egypt Affair (2023)

An Egypt Affair is a 2023 mystery thriller that sweeps you down the Nile on a journey of passion, secrets and betrayal. Dylan Fontaine, the wealthy young CEO of his father’s mining empire, boards a private riverboat with his wife Alexa, who hopes the trip will rescue their crumbling marriage. When a second couple and a mysterious, alluring stranger join the voyage, the cruise slowly turns into a dangerous game of attraction, jealousy and hidden agendas. Shot entirely on location in Egypt along the legendary stretch of river between Luxor and Aswan, the film blends breathtaking views of ancient temples and golden desert landscapes with the slow burn tension of classic film noir. Often compared to Death on the Nile and The Talented Mr. Ripley, An Egypt Affair delivers glamour, suspense and one twist after another. Directed by Marlin Darrah and starring Yolanthe Cabau, Jarred Harper, Nick Dreselly Thomas, Massi Furlan and Stacey Marie Williams, this stylish romantic thriller keeps you guessing until its final turn.
