Force of Nature (2020)

As a monstrous Category 5 hurricane bears down on San Juan, Puerto Rico, an evacuation order empties the streets, but one crumbling apartment building becomes the target of a ruthless robbery. Officer Cardillo (Emile Hirsch), a disgraced cop working evacuation duty, races through the storm to clear the residents, only to cross paths with Ray (Mel Gibson), a stubborn retired detective, and his daughter Dr. Troy (Kate Bosworth). When a vicious gang led by John the Baptist (David Zayas) storms the building in search of a fortune hidden within its walls, the mismatched group is forced to band together and fight for their lives. With floodwaters rising and bullets flying, survival means outlasting both the criminals and the storm. Directed by Michael Polish, Force of Nature (2020) is a fast, hard hitting action thriller that traps its characters between human greed and the raw power of nature.
