Lord of the Streets (2022)

Lord of the Streets is a hard hitting 2022 American action film written and directed by Jared Cohn, starring rapper and actor Treach as Jason Dyson, a former mixed martial arts champion whose career ended the night he killed an opponent in the cage. Ten years later he lives with the guilt, estranged from his daughter and scraping by as a trainer in a rundown gym. Everything collapses when a notorious gangster named Kane, played by UFC legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, orders Jason to make his prized fighter throw a title match. Jason refuses. Kane collects the debt in blood, murdering the fighter and kidnapping Jason's daughter Valery. The price of her freedom is simple and savage: Jason has to train a convict, Damon Stone, to survive five consecutive underground fights against the most dangerous men in the city.
