Replicas (2018)

Replicas is a 2018 science fiction thriller starring Keanu Reeves as William Foster, a brilliant neuroscientist working to transfer human consciousness into synthetic bodies. When a sudden car accident kills his wife and three children, grief pushes him to cross every ethical and legal line he once respected. Using experimental cloning technology and his own research into the human mind, Foster races against time to secretly bring his family back before anyone discovers what he has done. Directed by Jeffrey Nachmanoff, the film blends emotional family drama with high concept science fiction, raising unsettling questions about death, identity, and how far love can drive a person. Alongside Reeves, the cast includes Alice Eve as his wife Mona, Thomas Middleditch as his colleague Ed Whittle, and John Ortiz as his employer. As Foster's dangerous experiment spirals beyond his control, he must confront the corporate powers and moral consequences closing in around him.
