She Is Love (2022)

She Is Love is a 2022 British romantic drama written and directed by Jamie Adams, starring Haley Bennett, Sam Riley, and Marisa Abela. Patricia, a literary talent scout traveling through England for work, arrives at a charming boutique hotel in Cornwall only to discover that it is run by Idris, her former husband and once a celebrated rock star, alongside his younger girlfriend Louise. Divorced and estranged for more than a decade, the two former lovers are suddenly forced to share the same space. What begins as an awkward reunion slowly unfolds into a long and honest night, as Patricia and Idris revisit the memories, the grief, and the love that once bound them together, and quietly wonder whether new beginnings are still within reach. Told in an intimate, improvisational style, She Is Love is a heartfelt story about second chances, nostalgia, and the fragile line between letting go and holding on.
