The Legend of Barney Thomson

Barney Thomson is a shy, unremarkable barber in Glasgow, Scotland, drifting through a life of quiet routine. Everything changes the moment his ordinary world collides with an accidental act of violence, turning him into an unlikely murder suspect. As the police hunt a serial killer stalking the city, Barney’s troubles only deepen, made worse by his overbearing mother. The film marks the directorial debut of acclaimed actor Robert Carlyle, who also leads the cast as Barney. He is joined by a stellar lineup of British talent, including Emma Thompson as his formidable mother, alongside Ray Winstone and Tom Courtenay. The story is adapted from the popular novel by Douglas Lindsay. Blending pitch black comedy with crime and suspense, The Legend of Barney Thomson delivers a sharp, offbeat, and thoroughly entertaining ride. Stream the full movie now, only on Tesliya.
