The Monkey (2025)

The Monkey is a 2025 supernatural horror comedy written and directed by Osgood Perkins, adapted from Stephen King's chilling 1980 short story. When twin brothers Hal and Bill Shelburn discover their late father's old wind-up toy monkey in the attic, they unleash a curse that triggers a wave of bizarre and gruesome deaths. Terrified, the boys throw the toy away and drift apart as the years pass. Twenty-five years later, the killings begin again. Now estranged adults, Hal and Bill are forced to reunite and confront the cursed toy before it claims everyone they love. Theo James delivers a wild dual performance as both brothers, backed by a standout cast that includes Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Rohan Campbell, Sarah Levy, and Adam Scott. Produced by horror powerhouse James Wan and released by Neon, The Monkey blends jaw-dropping practical gore with pitch-black humor, drawing easy comparisons to the Final Destination films. It is a fast, funny, and ferocious ride about grief, fate, and the deaths we can never outrun. Stream The Monkey now on Tesliya.
